Active for nearly 40 years, the Dunvegan Recreation Association provides social, sporting, cultural,

educational, and recreational activities for the community. It serves approximately 250 households,

delivering a wide range of programs from soccer for all ages to hosting recreational events like our Winter

Carnival and monthly Movie nights.

Hall Rental - We are now able to reopen the DRA Hall for rental. If you would like to rent the hall please contact Anne Forrester-Bertrand

It is Community Spring Clean up Time: From now until May12th residents can pick up purple disposal bags in the bin beside the community mail box at the DRA Hall. Please use these bags to collect trash from the roads and place the filled bags alongside your weekly garbage pickup. The sanitation crew will pick up all purple bags that are placed out weekly with your regular trash. There is no limit on how many purple community clean up bags someone can put out. Far too many empties end up on our roadside. Turn bad behaviour into something good. Bring empty beer cans etc that can be returned for deposit to the Maxville Fair Grounds barns for the Lion’s Bottle Drive for Charity on May 31st..

It is Community Clean Up Time From now until May 12th, you can pick up your purple clean up collection bags from the bin beside the community mail box at the DRA Hall. Help keep our region beautiful by collecting roadside garbage. You can put the filled bags beside your regular garbage on your normal collection days. There is no limit to the number of purple bags that can be used to clean our area.
